On the day of arrival, your hotel room is ready for occupancy from 15:00. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am.
We will be happy to deposit your luggage at our reception if you wish to leave later.
You can pay the hotel bill in cash, with EC card and all major credit cards.

Our driveway at the rear entrance of the castle is available for loading & unloading.
The parking spaces there are reserved exclusively for guests with disabilities.
To park your car, please use our main car park in front of the castle.

In case of loss, we will charge you € 40.00.
Train:
If you arrive and depart by train, we can possibly provide you with a free transfer to the "Weizern-Hopferau" railway station on request. Please contact our reception desk in advance if you wish to make use of this service.
Within the framework of the Hopferau guest card, all journeys on the public transport network in the greater Ostallgäu area are free of charge.
Please be sure to inform the reception if you would like to use this service.

If something does not meet your wishes, please contact us. Of course we will do our utmost to realise your wishes.
Library:
You will find a small selection of (german language) books in our library in the Knights' Hall on the first floor.
We ask for your understanding that this room cannot be used during events.
Blankets:
Additional woollen or feather blankets are available free of charge from our housekeeping team or ask for them at our reception.
Toiletries:
In the bathroom, drugstore items for daily use are available free of charge, such as soap, shower gel, body lotion, cotton pads. Toothbrushes are available on request at reception.
Entrance door:
We lock our main entrance door in the evening.
You can use your room key to enter the lock at any time through the back entrance by the staircase.

Electric vehicles:
As guests of Schloss zu Hopferau, you are allowed to charge your e-car for a flat rate of € 15 per charge! There are two Tesla Destination Chargers and a universal charging station behind the castle.
So you can experience carefree nights and stay mobile.
Bicycle:
You can store your bicycles dry and free of charge during your stay in our lockable bicycle & motorbike garage.
Leisure:
Tips and addresses for leisure activities are available at the reception.

A rich breakfast awaits you from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. in our castle restaurant.

To protect the environment, room service only changes towels that are on the floor.
You are welcome to order additional towels directly from our housekeeping team.
Slippers:
Slippers are available free of charge and you are welcome to take them with you.
Pets:
Dogs are very welcome in our house. However, we ask you to be considerate of other guests.
Please keep your dog on a leash in the hotel and restaurant areas and do not leave your pet unattended in the room.
We charge a fee of € 15.00 per day for your dog.
Internet:
The WLAN hotspot "Schloss Hotspot" is available to our guests free of charge. You will need a password to log in. You will receive this at the hotel reception.
Children's playground:
There is a children's playground in front of the castle. Please remember your duty of supervision!
Pillows:
Additional pillows are available on request from our housekeeping team or at reception.
Visitor's tax:
The village of Hopferau charges a tourist tax of € 1.30 per person per night. Children from 7-17 years pay € 0,70 per night.
Light switch:
Our corridors of the hotel wing and the bathrooms are equipped with motion detectors.
The light goes out again after approx. 5 minutes.
Sewing utensils / sewing service:
You will find a small sewing kit in the wardrobe in your room.
Emergency call:
Dial (0)112 and you will be connected directly to the emergency call centre.
Radio:
You can receive radio programmes via the TV set. Press the "Audio" button.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted in the entire house.
You will find covered smoking areas in front of our main entrance and hotel entrance.
Open fires and smoking in the rooms are expressly prohibited.
In the event of non-observance and resulting fire brigade intervention, the costs of this intervention and any cleaning costs incurred will be passed on to you.
Umbrellas:
Umbrellas can be borrowed free of charge at the reception.

Our reception is open daily from 07:00 to 21:00.

Safe:
You are welcome to leave your valuables at our reception.
We will deposit them in our safe.
Shoe shine machine:
You will find our shoe shine machine in the stairwell at the rear entrance, which is available for use free of charge. You will also find shoeshine utensils in your bathroom.

Laundry service:
For this, use the laundry bag located in the wardrobe and hand it in at reception.
You will find a price list separately in the appendix.
If you hand it in by 9:00 a.m., you will usually receive the laundry back the same evening.
Wake-up call:
Please order your wake-up call the evening before at our reception.
You can also use the TV as an alarm clock.
You can access the alarm menu via the "Media" button.
Payment:
You can conveniently pay your bill on the day of departure in cash, with EC card, Mastercard, Visacard or American Express.
Newspapers:
The "Allgäuer Zeitung" is available daily in our castle restaurant.
You will also find various magazines to borrow in the entrance area.
Room cleaning:
If you would like your room cleaned, please hang the "Please clean" sign on the outside of your room door for that day.
Our staff will then take care of the cleaning, towels that are on the floor will be changed, bed linen will be changed and the rubbish bins will be emptied.
Room key:
With your room key you have access to the hotel wing at any time.
You are welcome to leave your key at our reception during the day. If you return later than 21:00, we ask you to keep the key with you. On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to return the room key directly to our reception and not to leave it at the room door.
Room service:
From 08:00 to 21:00 you can order drinks and from 12:00 to 21:00 meals to your room.
From 08:00 to 10:00 we serve only breakfast in the room. To place your order, please dial the number "20". For this service we charge an additional € 3.50 per order.
